By signing this General Release Form, you acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions regarding services provided by Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC:

1. Grooming Stress & Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
Grooming can be physically and emotionally stressful for some pets, especially elderly pets, puppies, pets with medical conditions, anxious pets, or pets unfamiliar with grooming. While we make every effort to provide a calm and safe grooming experience, grooming may expose or aggravate underlying medical or behavioral conditions.

You acknowledge that Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC is not responsible for any pre-existing medical, behavioral, or skin conditions, nor for the aggravation or recurrence of such conditions during or after the grooming process.

2. Product Sensitivities & Allergic Reactions
Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC uses professional grooming products selected for safety and quality, including but not limited to shampoos, conditioners, ear cleaners, colognes, dental products, paw treatments, de-shedding products, and coat color products.

You acknowledge that reactions or sensitivities to grooming products can occur and agree that Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin irritation, or sensitivities resulting from products used during grooming services. It is the owner's responsibility to inform the groomer of any known allergies, sensitivities, medical concerns, or special care instructions prior to the appointment.

3. Creative Grooming & Pet Coloring
If you elect to receive creative grooming or pet coloring services, you acknowledge and understand that:
• Color results may vary based on coat type, coat color, coat condition, and breed.
• Some colors may last for several weeks or months.
• Certain coat types may require the colored hair to grow out or shed naturally.
• Exact color shade, intensity, or longevity cannot be guaranteed.

You release Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC from liability related to the outcome, fading, or permanence of pet-safe coloring products.

4. Vaccination Requirements & Health Disclosure
You certify that your pet is current on rabies vaccinations as required by law and is free from contagious illness to the best of your knowledge. You authorize Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC to contact your veterinarian to verify vaccination records if necessary.

While our mobile grooming salon is cleaned and sanitized regularly, exposure to illness, parasites, or airborne conditions may still occur. You accept these risks and agree that preventive veterinary care remains the owner's responsibility.

5. Veterinary Care & Emergency Authorization
In the event of an accident, injury, illness, medical emergency, or situation requiring immediate veterinary attention, you authorize Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC to seek veterinary treatment for your pet at the nearest available veterinary clinic.

You authorize the attending veterinarian to administer treatment deemed necessary and agree to assume full financial responsibility for any veterinary expenses incurred.

Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC will make reasonable efforts to contact you immediately in the event of an emergency.

6. Aggressive or Unsafe Behavior
For the safety of pets and groomers, Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC reserves the right to refuse, stop, or cancel grooming services at any time if a pet displays behavior that is aggressive, dangerous, excessively stressed, or unsafe to groom.

You agree to disclose any history of biting, aggression, anxiety, seizures, or behavioral concerns prior to the appointment. Failure to disclose behavioral issues may result in refusal of future services.

7. Senior Pets & Special Needs Pets
Senior pets and pets with health concerns require additional care and may be at increased risk during grooming. By requesting grooming services for an elderly or medically compromised pet, you acknowledge these risks and authorize the groomer to use their professional judgment to modify or discontinue services if necessary for the pet’s safety and well-being.

8. Matted Coat & Coat Impaction Release
Matted or impacted coats can cause significant discomfort and may lead to skin irritation, bruising, hematomas, restricted blood flow, moisture trapping, hot spots, infections, and other painful skin conditions. Coat impaction and severe matting may conceal underlying injuries, parasites, sores, or medical conditions that become visible only after grooming.

Removing severe matting or impacted undercoat may result in temporary skin irritation, redness, clipper sensitivity, itchiness, abrasions, or other post-grooming effects due to the condition of the coat prior to service.

You acknowledge that Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC is not responsible for irritation, cuts, clipper burn, hematomas, skin redness, or any medical or skin-related conditions resulting from the removal of severe matting or coat impaction.

You authorize the groomer to remove matting and impacted coat using the safest and most humane method possible, including shaving the coat as short as necessary for the pet’s health, comfort, and safety.

9. Mobile Grooming Environment & Safety
You understand that mobile grooming services are performed inside a self-contained grooming vehicle and require safe working conditions.

You agree to:
• Provide a safe and accessible parking location reasonably close to your residence.
• Keep all pets securely contained before and after appointments.
• Ensure someone 18 years or older is available if required for check-in or emergency contact.
• Notify the groomer of any known driveway, parking, electrical, weather, or accessibility concerns prior to the appointment.

Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC reserves the right to reschedule or refuse service if weather, road conditions, unsafe environments, aggressive pets, or unsafe access conditions create safety concerns.

10. Fleas, Ticks & Parasites
If fleas, ticks, or other parasites are discovered during the grooming appointment, additional fees may apply for sanitation and treatment procedures necessary to protect other pets and equipment.

Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC reserves the right to stop grooming services if parasite infestations are severe or pose health concerns.

11. Lateness & Appointment Timing
Mobile grooming schedules are route-based and appointment times may vary slightly due to traffic, weather, pet behavior, or previous appointments. Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC will make reasonable efforts to communicate delays or schedule adjustments.

Clients who are unavailable at the scheduled appointment time may be subject to cancellation or no-show fees.

12. Photo & Media Release
You grant permission for Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC to photograph and/or video your pet before, during, and after grooming services and to use these images for social media, advertising, marketing, website content, educational materials, or promotional purposes without compensation.

13. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We understand that schedules can change; however, appointment times are reserved specifically for your pet and last-minute cancellations impact our business and groomers directly.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to fees.
• The first late cancellation or no-show may be waived at management discretion; however, a valid credit card will be required to remain on file.
• The second occurrence may result in a charge equal to 50% of the scheduled base grooming service.
• The third and any subsequent occurrences may result in a charge equal to 100% of the scheduled base grooming service.

Cancellation fees are non-refundable and are intended to compensate for reserved appointment time that could not be filled.

14. Payment & Service Refusal
Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements have been made. Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC reserves the right to refuse future service for unpaid balances, repeated cancellations, unsafe pets, unsafe environments, or inappropriate behavior toward staff.

15. Acknowledgment & Agreement
By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms outlined in this General Release, Consent & Service Agreement. You further certify that you are the legal owner or authorized agent of the pet(s) receiving services.

16. Pet Transfer & Leash Liability
For the safety and convenience of mobile grooming services, pets may be walked to and from the mobile grooming trailer by a groomer or staff member using a leash, slip lead, carrier, or other appropriate restraint.

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with transporting pets between the residence and mobile grooming vehicle, including but not limited to slipping collars, sudden movements, distractions, falls, or unexpected reactions from the pet.

You agree that Ladybug Mobile Grooming LLC shall not be held liable for injuries, escapes, illness, loss, or damages that may occur while the pet is being transferred to or from the mobile grooming trailer, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

Owners are responsible for ensuring pets have properly fitted collars, harnesses, or carriers and for informing the groomer of any behavioral concerns, fears, aggression, flight risk tendencies, or medical limitations prior to service.
